About Stacy

Stacy Owen is a contemporary fiber artist whose work explores the intersection of modern and innovation in textile art. With a passion for experimenting with various techniques and mediums, Stacy creates art from the world and emotions around her.

Stacy’s journey of bringing her designs to life began more than 20 years ago, when she learned to make quilts from her in-laws. She makes both modern and art quilts, as well as sewing bags, purses, and clothing. Stacy is located in Portland Maine and is a member of Maine Modern Quilters Guild and Studio Art Quilt Associates.
